Stefan Silvestrini – CEval GmbH

Dr. Stefan Silvestrini

Stefan Silvestrini is the director of the CEval GmbH. He studied sociology with a special focus on empirical methods and impact evaluation. Stefan is a former "TRANSDISS" fellow of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and received the Young Researcher Award of the German Evaluation Society in 2011 for his dissertation on the ex-ante evaluation of development cooperation programs. He has published several book and journal articles in the field of program evaluation, focusing on methodological issues and practical guidance, and is a regular speaker at national and international conferences (DeGEval, EES, etc.) on these topics. From 2016 to 2018, he was the spokesperson for the DeGEval Working Group on Development Cooperation and continues to be an active member.
