Stefan Silvestrini is the CEO of the CEval GmbH. In addition to the planning and management of monitoring and evaluation projects and the execution of consulting and training assignments, his tasks include in particular strategic corporate and personnel development. He has published book and journal articles in the field of program evaluation with a focus on methodological issues and practical guidance, and is a regular speaker on these topics at national and international conferences (DeGEval, EES, etc.). He studied sociology with a special focus on empirical methods and impact evaluation. For his dissertation on the ex-ante evaluation of development cooperation programs, he received the Young Scientist Award of the German Evaluation Society (DeGEval) in 2011.
