Dr. Silvana Saturno

Silvana Saturno is a project manager at CEval GmbH. As a project manager, she is responsible for the conception, planning and implementation of evaluations, especially for the development of data collection instruments, data collection and analysis, and reporting. She has conducted extensive ethnographic research among the Pume, an Amazonian society, and family farmers in Venezuela. She has published articles on topics such as indigenous agricultural practices, agroecology, and indigenous experiences of displacement. Silvana Saturno graduated in Biology with a focus on Plant Bioogy as well as Plant Ecology from the University Simón Bolívar, Venezuela. She holds two master's degrees in anthropology with a focus on human-nature relations. She received her PhD in social anthropology from Philipps University, Marburg, Germany.
