UPDATE: You can now watch the webinar here!
The third webinar in the Institutionalization of Evaluation Landscapes in Asia-Pacific series is set to take place on November 5, 2024. This series is hosted by the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association’s National Evaluation Policies and Systems (NEPS) theme group, which is dedicated to enhancing the understanding of NEPS across the region. The initiative aims to foster greater awareness through comprehensive documentation, sharing of best practices, and annual dialogues that bring together experts and practitioners in the field of evaluation.
Prof. Dr. Reinhard Stockmann, a Senior Professor of Sociology at Saarland University and the founder and director of the Center for Evaluation (CEval), started his publication project ‘Evaluation Globe—Compendium on the Institutionalisation of Evaluation’ in 2020. After the volume on Europe and America, the third volume, “Institutionalization of Evaluation in Asia-Pacific,” was published earlier.
During the webinar, Prof. Dr. Stockmann, along with other esteemed authors of the book, will provide an in-depth exploration of NEPS in India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. This session will offer valuable insights into how these countries have approached the institutionalization of evaluation, highlighting the unique challenges and successes they have encountered.
