Since February 2021, CEval supports Gesellschaft für Nachhaltige Entwicklung (GNE) with the new online training program Coordinator in Monitoring & Evaluation in development cooperation and humanitarian assistance. In the seven months of training, including three months of internship, the participants learn in theoretical and practical lessons how to use the concepts and methods of evaluation to measure the impact of development cooperation and humanitarian aid projects. The basic modules on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), on qualitative data collection and analysis as well as on quantitative data collection and analysis are taught every four months by the trainers of CEval.
This cooperation with GNE complements the wide range of training offers by CEval. Apart from the provision of tailor-made evaluation trainings for organizations, CEval offers the two Master's programs Master (Blended Learning) of Evaluation (MABLE) and the postgraduate study course Master of Evaluation. Additionally, CEval hosts the International Program for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET) under the umbrella of the Global Evaluation Initiative (GEI) together with the Center for Continuing Education (ZUW) at University of Berne.
