The 28th Annual Conference of the DeGEval Evaluation Society will take place from September 17 to 19, 2025<\/strong> with the theme \u201cInstitutionalization and Professionalization of Evaluation\u201d, and will be held for the first time at Saarland University in Saarbr\u00fccken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Center for Evaluation (CEval)<\/strong> is a founding member of DeGEval and has continuously contributed to its development for years. This year, we are pleased to be able to organize an international, English-language conference program together with DeGEval as part of the 28th Annual Conference. This will include four thematically related panels and a keynote speech by Prof. Dr. Reinhard Stockmann<\/strong>, the founder of CEval. This year’s conference will thus also be open to international participants, creating space for exchanging new ideas, experts’ industrial insight, as well as observations from international perspectives, reinforcing transnational dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The international stream will present findings from the CEval Evaluation GLOBE Project<\/strong><\/a>, which includes 50 country case studies and 11 reports from transnational organizations. The sessions offer a global overview of trends in the institutionalization and professionalization of evaluation, as well as an analysis of enabling and hindering factors worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
